In Greek mythology, Metion is the son of King Erechtheus of Athens and Praxithea, a daughter of Phrasimus and Diogeneia.

Metion was the brother of Cecrops, Chthonia, Creusa, Pandorus, Pandora, Procris, Protogeneia, and Oreithyia.
